Hi, I'm Paula and I carry out all the grooming here at Pampered Paws, the on-site grooming salon at Rascals Resort.
I am fully qualified having trained at the Barking Mad School of Dog Grooming and have been grooming for over 4 years. I believe that your dog deserves a positive and enjoyable grooming experience.
I therefore offer a caring and considerate approach to your dog's varied grooming needs and am happy to take into account customers specific instructions. I work very much with each individual dog and will not use restraints or muzzles and will not do anything which might cause stress or anxiety. I believe that with a little care and patience, any dog will relax and enjoy their visit. I pride myself in ensuring that your dog receives the best possible care and will leave feeling happy and refreshed. I am fully insured, and offer all aspects of grooming from bath only, de-shedding treatments and full grooms to breed standard styles.
Matted coats - I will attempt to de-matt a coat by using specific de-matting tools and combing out, but only if I feel that this action will not cause your dog to suffer any stress or discomfort. I always work with the best interest of the dog at heart and therefore, to prevent unnecessary stress, I would recommend and seek your permission to completely clip off the matted coat. Matted and difficult dogs require extra time and will be charged accordingly.
I reserve the right to refuse a dog that represents a risk of injury to itself or any member of staff. Dogs that show aggression will be returned back to their owner, even if not fully groomed, and full payment will be required.

Grooming Discounts
New customers receive a 10% discount off their first groom. Regular customers benefit from periodic discounts of 10%. Customers booking two services, i.e. boarding and grooming will also receive a 10% discount off the groom.
